Short Courses in Postgraduate Research Methods

Postgraduate Research Methods Course (PRM) is comprised of three series. The series are:

 

PRM 01

This is a basic postgraduate course aimed at introducing basic concepts and preparing postgraduate students for take-off in their academic research. PRM01 is designed to provide post graduate research students with an introduction to general research methods and also theoretical and hands-on experience with software required to carry out effective research.

 

PRM 02

This is an intermediate course aimed at consolidating issues learn in PRM01 and also to assist students with additional research methods as they proceed with the conduct of their research. It is designed to provide post graduate research students with further research methods, again for both theoretical and hands-on experience with software required to carry out effective research.

 

PRM 03

This is an advanced course mainly to assist students to learn how analyse, and make a meaningful report of their research findings. It is designed to provide post graduate research students with advanced research methods.

 

Calls for applications for these courses are normally posted on the College of Medicine HNTI and College of Medicine websites.
